GEM Lights LLC Christmas Light Installation Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement to Terms By scheduling and using GEM Lights Christmas light installation services, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

2. Service Description GEM Lights provides Christmas light installation services, which include the design, installation, maintenance, and removal of holiday lighting. The scope of work will be outlined in the service agreement provided prior to installation.

3. Scheduling and Availability

• Installations are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
• GEM Lights  will provide an estimated installation date, but this may be subject to change due to weather conditions, availability of materials, or other unforeseen circumstances.

4. Customer Responsibilities

• Ensure that the installation area is accessible and free from obstructions.
• Provide any necessary permissions for installation on your property.
• Remove any personal or valuable items from the installation area.

5. Payment Terms

• A deposit may be required to secure your installation date.
• Full payment is due upon completion of the installation unless otherwise specified in the service agreement.
• GEM Lights accepts payments via cash or check.

6. Pricing and Fees

• Pricing is based on the scope of work and will be detailed in the service agreement.
• Additional charges may apply for extra services or materials not included in the initial quote.

7. Cancellations and Rescheduling

• Cancellations made less than 14 days before the scheduled work will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of quoted labor. 
• Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

8. Warranty and Repairs

• GEM Lights provides a warranty for the installation and materials used. Details of the warranty will be provided in the service agreement.
• Any issues with the installation should be reported to GEM Lights within 48 hours of completion for inspection and repair.

9. Liability

• GEM Lights  is not liable for any damage to property that is not directly caused by our installation process.
• GEM Lights is not responsible for any injuries or damages resulting from the use or malfunction of the installed lighting.

10. Force Majeure GEM Lights shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under these terms due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to extreme weather conditions, strikes, or other disruptions.

11. Changes to Terms GEM Lights reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to customers and will apply to services scheduled after the modification date.

12. Governing Law These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Texas, USA
